Affiliate disclosure

Plain English, up top: this site earns commissions from the links in it, at no cost to you. Here is exactly how that works and where our money comes from.

As an Amazon Associate, Fairway & Fescue earns from qualifying purchases. When you click a link to a product and buy it, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is the same.

How our links work

Product links on this site are affiliate links, marked with #ad where they appear and routed through a redirect so we can keep them working when a product moves. They carry the standard rel="sponsored nofollow"attribute that tells search engines they’re paid links. Amazon is our default retailer.

Commission never changes a ranking

This is the important part. The commission we might earn on a product has no bearing on whether or how highly we recommend it. We routinely rank a $25 golf ball above a $50 one, and point you to the cheaper of two offers, even though that usually pays us less. If a ranking ever looked like it was bought, the whole site would be worthless — so we don’t do it. See our editorial policy for the full independence rules.

Prices change — and ours are dated

Every price on this site is pulled live from Amazon’s API and stamped with the date we checked it. Prices and availability change constantly, and the price shown at Amazon’s checkout is the one that counts. If our price data is more than 48 hours old, we hide the number and show “Check price” instead of risking a stale figure.

Other retailers

Where a brand-direct store is genuinely the better option for you — better price, stock or warranty — we may link it. Some of those links earn us a commission and some don’t; where a link doesn’t earn us anything, we’re happy to say so. Buyer-first always beats commission.
