Privacy policy
Fairway & Fescue is a content site. We collect as little as possible, we don’t sell your data, and here is exactly what happens when you visit or contact us.
What we collect
- Contact form. If you email us through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. We use them only to reply to you, and we don’t add you to any mailing list.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages are read and which links are clicked. This uses cookies and collects standard, non-identifying data such as approximate location, device type and pages viewed. We do not use it to identify you personally.
- Affiliate links.When you click a product link, the retailer (usually Amazon) may set a cookie so any purchase is credited to us. That cookie is governed by the retailer’s own privacy policy, not ours.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- We don’t run advertising trackers or retargeting pixels.
- We don’t require you to create an account, because there are no accounts.
Cookies and your choices
The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and, on click, from affiliate retailers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site works fine without them, you’ll simply not be counted in our aggregate analytics.
Third-party services
We rely on Google (Analytics), Amazon (affiliate links and live price data), Microsoft (delivery of contact-form email), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes limited data under its own privacy terms.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you — which, unless you’ve emailed us, is essentially nothing. To make a request, contact us.
